Hi !!!

I am new in Oracle databases. Yet, I have an issue to resolve, so I need help.

The issue is:
I have to create 2 Oracle 8.1.7.3 databases (on win 200server) in two remote locations+one more oracle 8.1.7.3 on the main server in HQ offices. Which is the best way to do replication between the two remote locations and the central server, considering that the remote locations belong to different companies and the central server has to "gather" the data from two of them on a once-per-day basis. Connections between remote locations and the HQ will be ISDN (or VPN) on demand, meaning I will not have 24/7 connection.

Please elaborate or post me a link with good explanation.
Thank You.

If you just need to pull data in, use Oracle Materialized Views. For more details, see http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Replication
